I bought this same unit Nov 27 for $128 so it doesn't seem to be a new deal.

I can't comment on the specifics of each of these two models but I can tell you what to look for.

I bought this leviot #1 brand in the US that I found for $20 (sold for way more) ; and I miss my winix because it had a preFilter. I found in testing small ones do nothing and mid sized needed to be on full. My winix was furniture sized; kept on low but my room was dust free.

Pre - filters will get rid of most your larger particles and can be vaccumed. Without a pre filter you will clog the expensive replacement filter quickly. Charcoal filters will help remove oders faster. Winix (my model) came with that. I sneeze now tho my mid sized leviot claims air is clean.

I make sure you get a model with pre filters cause filters are expensive.

I personally would put filtrete/furnace compatible boxes outside the main room on high and used the winix on low in the main. Never got dust on anything in that room!? Never seen the main filter look dirty. Could breathe better, bled less, and eventually smoke again years later 🤣

One thing I did was seal my rooms an house. Sealed Any cracks (anywhere) . Open windows every 2 days to cycle clean air and oxygen in. My specific need I coated my basement walls in anti microbial paint because basements are usually moldy/mildey; and sealed off my sump pump ; mostly not all the way or it won't stop a flood. This is only needed in humid climates and was my personal reason to end up doing all these tests.

Only thing I know about shark is they make those gimmicky stick vacuums that can only clean up crumbs off your bed when snacking late at night; but are sold as legit vaccums. Which makes me assume; they are interested in cash for trash; not cleaning.
