Same CADR as the Winix C545, for pricing comparison.

This is the new model. I had the old model then bought this one. Filters were supposed to be compatible (they weren't), it was supposed to work the same (it doesn't), and the last one ran full tilt for five years 24/7 before starting to get the smell of falling bearings.

This one started to fall in three months.

Went with the c909 for $160 since it's backed by Costco's return policy. I have a c909 already and the higher coverage really helps when I move it around to other rooms in the house

I have 3 of the 5520s which is the same as this one just a different front Grill design running for over a year. They work great, kinda gross how dirty the mesh pre filter gets every couple of the months. It picks up any sort of smell from cooking or dog walking by and farting (seriously) and cranks up the filtering speed to high for a few minutes before settling back down. So far the only "con" I can find is the Filter Q that it takes is a little less common at the moment since there isn't a ton of the new models out there yet, so the price of oem and aftermarket are a little higher.
