I use mine with the QZ app. App was about 5 dollars and gives all sorts of information about your workout. Qz fitness dot com for more info.

Make sure you don't update the firmware- they effectively blocked QZ:

This bike probably already has it blocked.

Bought this from Walmart in 2022 for 300. I use my iPad with the app synced to this bike and have used it daily since. It still looks and works like new.

This brings back memories of when they had the schwinn ic4 deals.
LOL I've been hawking IC4 deals for over a year. Seems like it's permanently "on sale" for $799. Same goes for the Bowflex C6, which is essentially the same exact bike (Schwinn & Bowflex share a parent company.) I'm hoping for $500 or less in the next few days of sales, but not holding my breath.

I like the Sunny Health "Bluetooth" bike because Sunny's app is free. Make sure to get magnetic.

I'm 6'0 220lb 37 year old man with a beer gut trying to get back into shape - is this the right bike for me? It looks more like a street racing bike that may be hard and uncomfortable

I can't speak to the quality of the bike, but there is a concern whether this bike has the latest firmware or not. If it has the latest firmware, you won't be able to use it without paying $400 a year for a subscription to use the bike...

Welp I went for it and ordered. If it requires an app that costs more than the bike I'll just return it

You can pair the bluetooth with an ipad, and the peloton app could be used.

There's an article on this exact model on bicycling.com. It mentions you can use it without their app and one of the cons was some shorter riders had a hard time getting a good seat adjustment. Im 6'5 so here's to hoping it's better for taller riders. https://www.bicycling.com/bikes-g...ise-bikes/

There should be a no-subscription required "Free Ride" option in the app. We have one of the ones with the screen attached and we can do a free ride just fine.

Mine arrived today. Instead of connecting to the Echelon app. I was able to connect to the QZ app like others stated in here.

I was also able to connect to Zwift and did sometime on there.

Seems pretty nice for under $200, everything is metal and powder coated, the max resistance seems pretty good for me so far? I am M 6' 2" and 235lbs, so it'll be decent enough for me and great for my wife.

Awesome, thanks for confirming it still works. Makes this easily the best value bike I think given the quality if you don't need the features in the higher end models (missing automatic resistance change and lower max resistance are the main differences I think). Just need to be careful to never install their app.

I see, though I think I've read that it is required to have the app in the foreground at all times while using it so that can still be a dealbreaker for some if they want to use their device to do other things while working out.
