Is this good to clean leaves off of a deck and walkways? I know a leaf blower is the way to go but my parents are elderly and I think this would be light enough for them

Not sure. But there's a few demo videos on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Rd4jlHRm2-c

I bought it using hack for $65. I like it, it's not a leaf blower, it's a job site blower. But it would be able to blow leaf for a quick light duty job. I use this more often to blow debris from my garage and deck. Even my 7 year old can use this.

I got mine in a hack as well and ended up using it much more than expected. It's just as powerful as my Ryobi job site blower but much quieter.

I have this and the Ryobi compact, like the ryobi better but wow, it screams like a banshee at full throttle!

Heck of a deal for the Milwaukee though, wouldn't use it as a leaf blower for anything but a small walkway, the Ryobi moves a lot more air for a compact.

Got my Ryobi off of FB marketplace new for $40, wouldn't pay full price. The Milwaukee mostly sits, grab the Ryobi first. Just keeping the Milwaukee for the RV to clean off outdoor chairs and carpets while camping.

How does this compare to the small DeWalt jobsite blower?

The DeWalt blower has the air in take on the left side of the tool so if you're right handed it's constantly sucking in your t-shirt... not a huge deal but this is in the ball park of selling the dewalt and replacing it with this and pretty much break even.

Anyone have both?

Meh... Cheap enough ill just buy it and try it.

I have this. It's OK. Yes it will blow (dry) leaves off a deck or walkways as a routine maintenance. I wouldn't suggest using it to clear large amounts of leaves.

But it's meant for the shop or working site. Blowing dust and debris away. Also does a decent job drying off the car and I've used it to blow out leaves from gutters.

It shouldn't be your primary tool for leaf removal, but it has some good applications for someone who just wants more tools.

This will do a great job if it's a small deck and the leaves are dry. If you need to power through an entire seasons worth of wet leaves, you will be much better off with something that runs on 18 or 20 V.

You will probably need their 5.0 xc battery. Since the little battery that comes with it will probably last you a minute or two.

If you think of it as a normal blower no it is lame, but I find myself using it all the time it is just so convenient. Blow a truck bed out, clear the walkway, blow leaves off a car. No cords no fuss.

"I've got the Ryobi 56-volt and I love it — it's a beast. The DeWalt 20-volt is fine for decks, the driveway, or the garage, but I wouldn't use it for the backyard. The Ryobi has way more power. And when the leaf piles get big, I still break out my Stihl gas blower. Big difference between 20 volts and 56." My girl uses the DeWalt perfect for her. 56 volt is heavy.
