Samsung Neo QLED QN80F 65"
  • The above TV from Costco with 5 years with AllState insurance is $ 1059 (999 + tax)
  • The above TV from Samsung.com with SamsungCare+ 2 years plan is $ 731 (675 + tax)

I already bought the TV from Costco, requested price match, and awaiting to hear from them. I am almost sure Costco will not entertain price match as Samsung.com without employee discounts and codes will show higher than Costco price.

The TV without any promotion and discounts is $ 2000

From Samsung.com , How did I get the TV to 675?
I used my company login through PerksatWork and then applied the codes available in slickdeals. Overall discounts is 1325

In short I got 67% discount in samsung.com and 50% in Costco; however, Costco gives 3 additional year of coverage.

In terms of total cost, Samsung deal looks better; maybe you can buy the 4 yr SamsungCare+ instead of 2yrs? however, not sure if Samsung experience would be same as Costco but just based on cost, if you add the 4yr protection Samsung would come out better.

I got 2 year warranty from SamsungCare+ for free while purchasing the TV; can I not purchase additional 2 years after this warranty ends? May be that time better TV will be there and I would like to upgrade
