I ordered this 2 days ago and the game has been shipped. I'll update this once I receive it but seems legit.

Free Holiday returns until Jan 31 if any issues. Obviously can't return a used game, though. Seller ratings seem legit enough to try and mine shipped yesterday.

the seller GameChest routinely fulfills stuff like this with cheaper international/imported versions, so understand that this is distinct possibility (and to me the fact that that it goes out of the way to explicitly state that it's a region free version would seem to suggest this)

fyi, fulfilled by Walmart, like Amazon, just means that they are handling the logistics part of it, not that they guarantee/warrant the accuracy of the product. That falls upon the actual seller.

Currently $62 at Costco. Holding out for this to go for $40 on clearance like they did with Donkey Kong Bonanza.

Thanks for posting this. I decided to play an order since Walmart provided a $15 promo code for messing up one of my previous orders. Hopefully everyone receives an ESRB copy.

Secondly, isn't this one of the Switch titles that works on the original Switch and Switch 2?

just fyi, the ESRB rating being on the cover doesn't necessarily mean it's a North American copy either. Versions produced for the Middle East/South East Asian market (a.k.a. "World Edition") also utilize the ESRB logo (maybe they don't have their own distinct ratings board) and you can't tell just from front cover. On the back cover though it will have a product code that specifies that market (I think it typically says like "MDE" or "MSE" in the code if I recall correctly) and a colored triangle across the bottom left corner of the case that signifies this version.

I was under the impression if you wanted a copy that works on both systems (Switch 1 and 2) you're better off buying the Switch 1 version, and paying the $9.99 for the upgrade pack. You now have a Switch 1 copy with a switch 2 upgrade pack, that you can always play back on the Switch 1.

I don't believe it works the other way around, I could be wrong...

Thanks for letting me know. I remember hearing about that feature recently and thought it was pretty cool.

Does that mean you always have to have a Nintendo Online sub to get the Switch 2 version working?

My knock on digital copies of games is that you have nothing physical to sell, especially when the Switch 2 eventually stops working or is sold.

You are wrong.😆 The only benefit of the Switch 1 version is the much better looking case. I have this and the Switch 2 cart 100% works on Switch 1, verified by all my children. It contains both the Switch 1 version and the Switch 2 upgrade on cart. Like most games there is an update when you first put it in, likely patches and DLC options.

As someone who never cared for the series until Arceus (trying to relate to said kids), Z-A is a ton of fun. I thought Arceus was decent, played it for around 30 hours and rolled the credits. I'm already near 70 hours into Z-A and playing post credit roll content. Will get at least 75 hours out of this game.
