Are these better than the Eco-Worthy 100W panels that have a lot of posts? The Eco-Worthy ones seem to have a lot of negative comments regarding wattage, so I'm hoping for a better option.

Newbie in solar here...does it require any other equipment to use this panel for camping or powering up backyard lights?

Yes, it has a "solar connector", no idea what kind of equipment you need to convert that cable into standard connection plugs.

It's easy to just buy a power station like an ecoflow or bluetti and that will give you receptacles to plug your stuff into

Also might need a couple long wires so you can get your panels out in the sun and your power station away from the sun

They work really well.

For those that missed out: I've had a lot of luck with HQST panels:

They are roughly the same price as these (not n-type).

Do you know the correct long wires? Or is this dependent on panel and power station?

I use Renogy solar extension cables and it is way smarter to buy the red and black wires and not just black ones

It doesnt matter what color they are because MC4 connectors can only be plugged in one way. You couldn't flip flop them and plug them in flip flopped if you wanted to. As long as they are wired correctly from factory, then you are good to go. Its a foolproof design. The only problem is, contrary to popular belief, MC4 is not a set-in-stone universal standard. Its kind of evolved into an solar industry standar, but its not something that's enforced by any governing or overseeing body within the industry, so it's a good idea to check the polarity of your wires at least one time when you first get them, but after that, you'll never have to worry about plugging them in incorrectly again.

I have one or two of those, they're not bad. In this case, must resist more. I already have 3 12 volt panels and that was supposed to be the end of that trail. I did pick up another HQST MPPT Charge controller off their sale to stick into a Honda Element stealth camper conversion though.

so you've never used two black cables and wondered which cable was positive - bullsh!
