Be aware of the potential condition difference between the two options. $149.99 is for Refurbished. $169.99 is for factory reconditioned.

"Refurbished" covers everything from buyers' remorse returns and products whose defects have been repaired by the pros to damaged packaging and discontinued items. If you can accept their checkered past, refurbs have a lot of love to give.

A "factory reconditioned" item was returned, inspected, and restored to fully working condition by the original manufacturer or a certified partner. Each product comes backed by an assigned manufacturer warranty OR our very own (90 Day) Woot Warranty. It's as close to new as you can get without technically being "new".

It seems the $169 comes with cups and the $149 doesn't as well.

If you're considering this for alcoholic drinks, would suggest you look for the 150oz version Ninja Slushi MAX. The newer model addressed the previous model's deficiencies and can make drinks up to 20% ABV

What ABV are you limited to on this?

edit: looked it up, it's 16%. Good enough for saving $230 from the MAX lol

I don't know if I would buy one of these if it had actually been previously used. I have owned four Ninja slushies that I would use daily at home. Three of them have died just after the warranty has ended. All with different issues, so these machines are clearly designed to last the length of the warranty, but I don't believe much longer. I'm normally fine with purchasing reconditioned equipment, which are often on used customer returns from my experience, but...
