It gave me my career. The schools and training at the highest levels along with the discipline. No other place was that found and for free than where the uniform is worn daily. I was very appreciative and proud. A lot of better men than me, sacrificed their lives so that I could have what I have. I thought about that daily.

sure hanging with the Joes was great fun and there were certainly good times, but once you went to the dark side those guys (and gals too) are half lying , half embellishing, mix in the spice of truth and Voila! instant bullshit. No not all of them, there were some downright honest folk there, but my best guess would be 35-45%.

How do you tell if a Field grade is lying?

and before you say to yourself "he just hates field grade officers," .... which is probably what i would say .... i was one that 's how i know so well.
