Good deal, but only if you missed the Amazon deal.

You can basically get $120 bonus on $600 with this deal, so you're basically paying $600 for $720 GC (17% off).

With Amazon, the GCs were 15% off, and you can get up to 8% CB with the Prime card, so you'd end up effectively paying $612 for $720 GC, but you'd also get $49 CB, making it $563 (22% off).

Better deal at ALBERTSON"S CHAINS

Buy $150, earn a $25 grocery voucher, get 8x points on your digital account (1200) good for another $20 in groceries, plus use PRIME VISA to pay, earn $7.50 on the quarterly grocery promo now in effect. Don't have to mess with the bonus card good for barely 30 days given they are closed on Christmas. Not sure if the bonus card even works online.

the bonus card is NOT a gift card, it is a $30 off coupon basically, can't spend them down, must use the whole $30 in one shot. and having to spend $120 in 30 days is risky unless you have multiple pets to feed who go through a ton of food. You can only stock up so much and then you tend to overpay because you can't play the sales since you have a ticking bonus card bomb over your head. eBonus Cards may not be redeemed for certain goods and services as described at the store. eBonus Cards are non-refundable and have no fees. The Albertson's deal doesn't include PetSmart directly. The list on DoC is incorrect. Zift does include Petsmart, but there is no bonus 8x on Zift this week.
Also, the bonus card functions like a normal gift card but has a short expiration date. It doesn't function the same as the Treats point bonuses.

Yes you are correct, however there was the 4x bonus on weekends offer on all GCs.

So a $150 Zift with PETSMART would net you $25 grocery voucher, 600 in points good for about $7-8 in items or bank them if you have Fresh Pass, and $7.50 using Amazon Prime.

No matter how you slice it you're still coming out ahead than this deal and no worries about that dopey bonus card that you must spend in store. Not so, read the fine print, they ARE NOT GIFT CARDS in any way shape or form. it is a $30 off $30 or more coupon that has restrictions on what you can use it on. I know of no such restrictions on types of merchandise a normal gift card carries. (guessing prescription food, etc).

It is simply false and misleading to call this $30 bonus card a gift card. Plus a gift card can be used for online orders where you can earn 10-15% cashback at sites at times. These are store only COUPONS. period.

The eBonus works online and works like a gift card. I did the same deal last year.

I don't know where you copied from, but the terms state: "are redeemable for certain goods and services as described at PetSmart retail locations in the U.S. and online 11/28/25-12/31/25."

I've already maxed the grocery category on all my cards for the year/quarter, and I'm sure many other people have as well. In some areas, Albertson's owned chains are a fair bit more expensive than other competitors, which eats away the difference. For those who have maxed their grocery categories, this deal is pretty good. "Messing with a bonus card." is no more of a hassle than messing with a $25 off certificate that expires sooner than the bonus card.

Quoting directly from the T&C of the offer:

eBonus Cards may not be redeemed for certain goods and services as described at the store

I know of no 'goods' petsmart gift cards aren't valid on. As for services, like grooming, not sure if Petsmart GC's can be used there, but if they can, and these can't...well.
