"This code is not valid for paying subscribers"
Anyone knows if I cancel the subscription now, I could take this deal? It is only for new subscribers.

It doesn't work even if you cancel.

I generally just try to cancel my annual plan and select too expensive and they give 50% off on renewal. I repeated this last two years and I just did it a week ago even though my renewal is in Jan.

I am trying to do the same thing, but I didn't see "too expensive " option. Could you give a hint on where to find it?

I just did cancel, the option closed to what you were stating was not" getting enough value for the price" or something similar to that, then the option of $60-70 year plan will accommodate better for me, hopefully getting a deal right afterwards. Then my subscription was cancelled :-(. No option of getting 50% off or any deduction whatsoever.

I'm actually glad I left my sub expire 2 weeks ago (unintentionally, was just busy and didn't update expired payment info) and am able to take advantage of this.

F this company. I cancelled one day after trial ended (I forgot about it until I was charged. I ended up using Copilot) . Got refund via Apple. They somehow bypassed Apple Pay/store and charged my card back directly. Scummy and probably violates Apple policies.
