What makes these better than the Delsey Paris set that is also available from Costco but for $140?

The Travelpro one has Lifetime Warranty on wheels, zippers, and handles.
I can't seem to find the warranty for the Delsey Paris Accelerate, but I don't think it's lifetime.

For me it's always the wheels that fail. The reviews on Travelpro wheels aren't the greatest. Warranty does me no good when a wheel gives out on a cobblestone street in Krakow lol,

For what it's worth I've known a few flight attendants and they all swear by Travelpro. My wife got me a travelpro carryon (soft sided) in 2015 when I started flying a lot as a consultant. It is still going strong in 2025. It's real "buy it for life" stuff

I bought one in Maxlite 3 medium in 2015. I fly 1 or 2 international trips a year. In 2025, one wheel almost came off. I used Gorilla glue but the wheels no longer coordinate. Also, the material in one corner has worn off and I anticipate in 1 or 2 more trips it will come off.

How is this one in comparison?

Delsey is crap; read the reviews. You will get far better value getting this one which will sell out today. Black is sold out and only 33 remain of the one in white. This is 100% polycarbonate 3 pieces.

I really wanted the black but dilly dallied. It sold out!

I suspect the soft one is the better play. However, this one also catches my fancy.

That's because they get the CREW classic line, which is heavy duty, and costs a ridiculous amount if you are not an airline crew member.

I bought these at Costco Next on September 2023 for $219. I've used them many times internationally and domestically and they're still in great shape. I recently bought another Briggs & Riley Essential hard case carry-on on Costco Next for $470, a Zipper broke off, and the nearest repair facility is 20 miles away or send it to Briggs for $30. I'm not sure the lifetime warranty was worth the extra.
