That one time deal is not available anymore. IdeaPad Pro has better gpu but the Cpu is inferior, has 16GB at this price and soldered memory. In today's DRam pricing, 16GB to 32 GB upgrade, probably alone costs over 200 USD.

The ideapad pro from Costco is 32 gb 1tb storage and I think ultra 9 processor for 16" laptop. It's 1000 starts 11/27.

Ordered one of these for now, might return if a better deal comes up. Yes, the ideapad pro was a better deal, but I missed that. This is the best deal I see now for a similar type laptop.

Normally you may have a point. But since it's Costco, you can just order for now and if something better comes along the next 2-3 months, you can just return it.

This is almost the configuration I made at HP and paid $1500 for it, before I returned it due to wifi card problem (BE200).
Certain times the MB will recognize it, other times it won't. HP and Intel tried to fix the issue, and in the meantime HP stated using a newer version of the wifi card that hopefully solved the issue.
I did not find info which card it is.
