I posted same price about a month ago. Consensus was not that great of a deal and the extra $150 for the m5 is worth it. This needs to be $700 at most.

I'd agree. 8gb -> 12gb ram. 25% more mem bandwidth. 15% faster cpu. 30% faster gpu. 6E -> 7 WiFi. 5.3 -> 6 Bluetooth. 100% faster ssd

This is a M4 last gen model. Besides its m sold out. Not paying 5% for non sam's club member, I pulled the trigger for the same price else where.
Edit: i was able to price match for a M5 model
