- The cheap chinese projectors lie about their lumen output
- "No" projector will ever work in daylight so is it really worth spending more ?
- These nebula mobile projectors are hard to understand - 200lm and they're on sale for $300 now but this one is $300 at 1,000 lumens and some saying its not great ?

If you have to have a name brand and want one for sure that will have a better picture than the above to, this is probably your best bet for $250.

Any number of used Infocus, BenQ, etc DLP projectors that use HID lamps will typically out perform these cheaper projectors. However, it does mean buying used.
Still, the modern cheap projectors are very impressive. I have a Miroir MP150 that's far better than my first projector in every way and likely better than my second projector (Infocus LP220) again in almost all ways (probably similar in real world brightness).
