Any pros to this over Bitwarden apart from better UI?

They know their software is really good so they hook you in with a little deal like this and then you're stuck. They never give us existing subscribers a break. I dread the day that they will bump prices and I have to switch to some alternative.

When I did a side by side test last year, Bitwarden was a lot worse at autofill on mobile. Core functionality is pretty comparable, just lots of little convenience use cases where 1pw does a better job.

Why anyone would pay for password manager when Bitwarden is so good with browser extension, Mac and windows app etc?

I still own the "lifetime subscription" and consider myself very lucky. They kept trying to entice me to convert to the subscription service but I refused. That was ~5 years ago.

Bitwarden was a crap many years ago. Now it's better. But still not as good as 1pass. However, these online pass storage service are just like giant honeycomb. Every hacker want it. So I use keepass to store only offline in my own devices.

Not sure if bitwarden has family support but if you want to share vaults with different family members then 1Password works flawlessly.

Apple, Microsoft and google are huge in comparison to 1pass. And having 3 different platforms that I use that 1pass works on makes my life much easier. Plus passkeys makes hacking password managers clouds useless

1password is weak with Android phones. It is definitely not a seamless integration.

that could be a reason why they gave us family plan for free 2 months ago? now nobody wants it anymore. we all got it for free already.
