It was actually cheaper by like $3 dollars last week. I been watching this and debating...and researching and debating. Bed warps ... slicer issues...major issues with CFS (multi-color) overall it appears unless your willing to spend a ton of time both mechanically adjusting and making tons of mods and goofing with slicer settings to dial in...this can't be recommended. I will let you guys do the research but overall I think this has to be a pass even though I really wanted to get it. Build volume and core XY speed ...but I too many issues.

I have one of these, and honestly it's been fantastic. In general haven't had to mess with it much at all, just get quality filament, test max flow settings to make sure you're not printing too fast for said filament, and IMO use OrcaSlicer.

I use this everyday. It's a great printer for those who are veterans using creality products. You do end up tinkering to get it running, but once it runs- it prints clean, large, and fast. If you're new but have plenty of time to learn- This is going to be the best large format printer for the price. Looking for multicolor or a beginner printer? see other options. This your 2nd or 3rd printer? Get it.

I wouldn't buy it without an easy return policy. But if you get one that works it will be an awesome deal. Been running my second one for a couple years and my only issues were because of filament shortcomings.

I bought one a few weeks back. So far so good. The printer looks good, used but very good condition with most of the plastic protective film in place.

The only issue was some rub makes on the build plate which you can see in the smooth bottom surfaces of parts.

That said, I was worried about getting a dud printer.

I have two of these and they have been almost flawless. They sit next to my two Bambu P1S's.
I think your reading too much into negative reviews.

Thanks for your efforts. What's the value purchase right now? Not cheapest, but arguably best value.

If you didn't need the large print bed then this isn't a good deal. The FF 5M pro or K1c are better options for less with basically the same capabilities other than print volume.

In general I think the FF deals are the best right now since they are for new printers with great hardware vs effectively used printers that could be very good (my K1 max is fine) or could be a pain (see some of the Creality refurb complaints).

If you get a good refurb (I'm basically 2 for 2) they are a great buy. However, with the FF you are getting new. My only unknown/concern is did FF cut cost between when I bought my 5M last year and now. When I bought the 5M they were closer to $300.

the FF 5m pro is like 270 before tax. At that price you might as well include the elegoo CC at $310 before tax just for the extra build volume alone.
There really isn't a printer that separates itself as the best deal right now. But compared to a year or two ago, core xy is way cheaper, so that's nice.

The FF vs CC is a hard call. The FF pro had been as cheap as around $230 where SI would say get it over the CC. As the price gets closer to the CC, I'm less sure. The biggest build volume is nice but I also have really liked my FF5M (non-pro). Depending on what you want to print, the FF5M + diy enclosure (under $30 total if you get the right deals) is very compelling.

I feel like I've seen a few hit or miss reviews of the CC while the FF reviews always seem solid (+my personal good experience with the printer).

I never saw the pro at $230, that would have been sweet. I thought about adding the diy enclosure to the non pro but the pro gets you a camera and lights too. I could obviously run a pi and a camera and some 5v LEDs, but that's not free.

Just got an email, CC is down to $265 plus I assume $30 shipping.

It was a recent deal but I'm not sure it's still available.

That's been my experience with all 3D printers.
