One of the best smelling colognes in my collection. I have the old formulation. They say the new formulation is not the same, doesn't last long. But I wouldn't know. For the price it's a no-brainer. It really is a great cologne. Ladies love it

So for those that do not know. Eau de Toilette is basically the cheapest cologne possible. More alcohol based than perfum based ones. This matters for amount needed and how long it last and the smell potency.
Toilette = Less than 15% oil while Perfum is typically 30%+.

Why I say that. So this use to be the higher concentration one. I know because I went grab one of my older bottles that still has some in it.

I would 100% avoid if this was one of your favorite brands/smells. Definitely a different mixture now so avoid. Price is not even that good honestly. I usually pick them up on sale from $55-65 for the good stuff.

Update: Went look and in 2019 they started making this cheaper crap.

I still have my YSL Eau de Parfum bottles from 2016. Smells great, but you could purchase Toilette varieties back then from Nordstrom if you really desired. I don't wear it as much because I would consider it a club scent and while very good, for intimacy I prefer Creed Aventus especially in the cold winter.

Back in the day if I wanted to smell like woodsy chocolate with a hint of morning fresh ground coffee, I would wear Hanae Mori HIM.

Good luck to all!

The cheapest cologne possible would be Eau Fraiche.

Parfum > Eau de Parfum > Eau de Toilette > Eau de Cologne > Eau Fraiche

Also, for anyone wanting LDNL, many fragrances have had alterations over time due to regulations and other factors. That doesn't always mean they end up being bad; it just means it might not be as good as they once were. There hasn't been a dupe I've come across yet that competes even with the reformulated version of LDNL. Some have mentioned Montagne [montagneparfums.com] creating a 1:1 dupe of the old DNA, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

How is it? Does it smell like the original formula? I'm so tempted to get it. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

3.3 oz is out of stock; the same price for 2 oz is not a deal.

I've been using the L'Homme for about 5 years now - on my third bottle. it's available for the big size for 70$ off the same website. would highly recommend.

You missed Elixir lol.. It's all mostly marketing bs. Practically, a fragrance has to be judged overall imo. LNDL is an absolute winner in terms of the scent profile and there's quite nothing that even comes closer. Montagne La Nuit 2011 is supposed to clone the 2011 batch but at $45 for 50ml, it's more expensive than OG so can't justify paying more for a clone.

IMO, a fragrance has to be judged overall. LNDL is an amazing fragrance and there's barely anything that comes close at the price. I still have 75% left in my 2017-11 batch bottle. My friend who loved it has ordered this one despite being aware of the reformulations. It will be interesting to compare and see how much different is the juice in terms of smell and performance.
