Everyone's ears are different. So just to add another perspective, i have been happy with mine. Needed to get different tips so they stay put when working out, but the sound quality is good enough and noise cancellation works well. Not HiFi/audiophile quality, but for that I have bigger cans at home.

Thanks, I didn't buy this the last time it was this price a few days ago because of some stuff i saw on the rtings review. Mainly because it got a 5.2 on (red rating) on audio reproduction.

Regretted it a little when I read some more real people reviews and not just graphs and charts. Grabbed it this time around to use with my new mint pixel 10 pro xl

I had these, definitely better than the previous versiou by strides in my opinion. I personally think these felt great and secure in my ear, and sounded great. Not to mention they streamline a lot of the google processes. I dunno what the person above is talking about.

Unfortunate, here's a real person review - these suck. Got them for next to nothing after using my Google store credit, and I ended up returning them. Worse sound quality than my 6 year old cheap Jabras, and couldn't get them to fit my ears well with any provided tips.
Google really flopped with these, big time.

If you're expecting sound quality this is the wrong brand. This is basically Beats by Dr Dre or Skullcandy level quality with added software on top to make it "Gemini focused"

This does the thing where it'll detect human speech (mostly yours when you start talking) and it'll pause whatever is playing for as long you're still talking. It's good and bad depending on the situation, and I find it's usually just useful for you to just manually pause things to take the buds out.

I like them and have no real complaints. They seem to work well and when I went to the gym the noise cancellation worked well.

Products don't get discounted this much unless there's a problem... in this case, about half fail to see value either in sound "quality" (always subjective") to poor fit (possible user error but this many bad reviews is unusual) to beta testing for gemini to possibly color (imo why this one is discounted and not all) ..... still on the fence lol

fun fact: google paid a friend of mine for info (panel survey stuff) on if the directions to an upcoming product was "easy to use" - i suspect it was this same product because they said the instructions weren't completely clear but the video also made sense..... it was clear as mud! 😂

I think you're delusional. I've used them DAILY for exercise and walking since launch and they are excellent. Great noise cancellation...can't beat this price point.

I bought a pair for $180 3 weeks ago, tried to return on amazon and they offered me a $30 refund to not swap them. Not quite $133 but I'll take it.

Everyone's ears are different so the fit is really dependent on the person.

I need something that will fit under 3M blue cancelling earmuffs for mowing. Airpods will not die to the stem.

I have a Pixel but like my air pods pro 2 better than pixel buds. May take a chance on these pixel buds pro 2, though.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank highonfire

I've owned every iteration of the Pixel Buds aside from the weird strap OG version that no one knows about and the new A2. I can say without reserve, the Pro 2s are excellent and are every bit as on the same level as the Apple Air Pod Pros (aside from the HR monitoring, that's an awesome feature I hope the Pro3s have). Build quality, features, sound quality, spacial audio, ANC. Plus, no stupid obnoxious stems. It took Google a damn decade, but finally they seem to have direction, attention to detail, and a good QC process for their hardware division. In other words, probably going to be in the Google graveyard in 24 months from now. haha

Aaside from I wish they had more that ~5hrs of charge since I wear them all the time and even forget I have them in. Far more comfortable in the ear canal that previous models, Bluetooth rage is much better than previous models, sound stage is better, etc, etc. Even the little noises that the case makes indicating connections and other elements instead of having to figure out a stupid flashing light pattern is a very simple but well appreciate touch.

For $130 this is a no brainer and I'm probably going to pick up another as a backup. Of course, like shoes, one person might love what you loathe, so IDK, just don't be one of those assholes that walk around in public playing videos or music coming out of their phone speaker, there's a special place in hell for those folks.
