I have a perfect set of older craftsman but after playing with ratchets with more teeth count like this tempting but not a NEED for me. Looks like a great buy
I think this obsession with tooth count is largely unfounded. I have used all kinds of ratchets. Higher tooth count certainly doesn't guarantee smoother action, and doesn't always mean fewer turns of the wrist due to manufacturing tolerances. My favorite, smoothest ratchet is actually a no-name 72 tooth thing I got in a kit. I'm sure these 84s are fine.

5* is worse than 3* and in an ultra tight space where you get 1 click with 3*, it sure does matter
