Butter is expensive and isn't always available to people using food banks. Annie's calls for added 3 Tbsp of milk. I've subbed oatmilk before and my kids ate it. Compare that to Kraft's instructions that call for 4 Tbsp of butter and 1/4 c milk. Last time I checked Winco and a few other brands were similar to Kraft. For this reason I prefer to donate Annie's.

The last time I bought one of these my toddler decided he no longer liked the "yellow cheese" and only wanted white. Needless to say, these taste pretty good

These taste ok but first, to cook them, you need to combine some tapioca powder with water and microwave it. When you open the cup it will look like some clear slime with weird slimy consistency then after you drop the powdered cheese. If you can handle that then ok. Great to feed kids that don't have to prep it then get grossed out during prep but it might turn off some people who have to prep and eat it.

I've had the powdered cheese go bad, the powder had gotten clumpy and when prepared it just tasted wrong. No one wanted to eat it. It was at least a year past the best by date, so I don't fault the company, but there is a limit as to how long you can store this.

Sure it normally lasts past the expiration, but it's very possible for it to go bad. Especially the cheese.
