In for another. Purchased one back in January and it's been working great with my EG6000XP. Time to add more breakers.
EDIT: About the same price, btw. ~$10+, now

This is not the best priced battery ($/watt) but I'm pretty sure they're the cheapest UL certified batteries on the market. A lot of people will make the argument that UL isn't that important and your home is full of devices that aren't UL certified. That's true. But what is overlooked is how much energy these batteries store. They are significantly more dangerous than a cell phone charger or tiny USB power bank. Having a UL certified battery might just pay off the day you need to file for an insurance claim.

do you have examples of cheaper priced batteries of similar size?
i was using a couple of simple locally sourced LFP batteries at about 3.6kwh total for $350/ea
they served well when the power went out for 8 hours but it was more of an experiment at that time.

Wattcycle has theirs for $700 currently. https://www.wattcycle.com/product...um-battery just fyi I haven't used these, I saw them advertised on the Will Prowse DIY Solar forums. I have 2 ecoworthy server rack batteries currently but these are tempting at the price.

I see:
[UL Certified Safety]

This battery is rigorously tested and certified to UL1973 & UL9540A standards, the benchmark for safety in North America. Wrapped in a robust full-metal shell and managed by a 100A BMS with multi-layer protection, it also includes an integrated 125A circuit breaker. Rest easy knowing your home and family are protected by the highest safety credentials.

People need to learn to read before they reply

Poster 1 - these (Ecoworthy) are not the cheapest battery but they are the cheapest UL certified batteries

Poster 2 - asks for examples of cheaper batteries (presumably without regard to UL certification)

Poster 3 - provides an example of a cheaper non-UL cert battery (not EcoWorthy)

Poster 4 - Proclaims "these are not UL certified!" No duh - exactly what was being asked for

Poster 5 - Provides the UL certification for EcoWorthy batteries, ignoring that the previous poster wasn't talking about EcoWorthy anymore

And "people" wonder why we have such political discourse.

Does anyone know of a quick changeover inverter or anything that could make use of this battery as a UPS?

Found this, Uhome Brand, I think these are all almost the same.

Not the same form factor, but it's definitely cheaper per wh. Ecoworthy also has a 14kW battery that is typically cheaper per wh. You can also look at Yixiang & Docan for cheaper, non-UL batteries.

Very nice. Thanks. I was skeptical about eco-worthy until reading some of their reviews.
Good that there is some competion to help drive innovation.

this is basically what i started with.
the price is very good but limited monitoring. i'd need 4 for get the voltage nominal for my inverter.
$860 is a crazy good price for 14kwh.
