Seems like a great deal. It being part of the eBay Refurbished program means 30 days free returns with no hassle, plus the 2 year warranty. I might get it to replace my E3 Pro.

I would call this a medium to medium-small, not LARGE like the listing on eBay has in the title.

Print bed is 220mm x 220mm

Average "medium" I'd say is more like 250mmx250mm, with large being at least 300mm x 300mm

Medium is fair. For quite a while 220x220 print area was kind of a de facto standard. This might be because it was the size of the Ender 3. Anyway, recently, with the popularity of the Bambu printers the 250x250 bed size is becoming more popular. In general the difference between the two is often not much. In my experience the only time the difference mattered was when I was trying to print a model as big as possible. Don't get me wrong the 250 is nicer than 220 but the difference isn't a game changer.

Yup, I was holding off for better deals closer to CM, the K1C refurb was slightly cheaper before coupon.

Centari Carbon is now $10 cheaper new tho at $290 shipped + tax; newer printer with great reviews and a bigger test bed; not sure it is worth the extra from K1C refurb at $207+tax

There is no reason to get this when you can get a P1S for $399.

Their refurbished program is hit or miss. Most of these units are used and you have to fix them. Read the eBay reviews.

I do agree with being cautious. I will also note the two printers I bought from this seller were both good. The "for parts" Ender 3 S1 Pro (purchased almost 2 years back) was new in box, never assembled. The K1max I purchased very recently was generally open newish with a build plate that has minor marks. So I can't complain about either of my experiences but I still would check things over before the return window is out.

I'm a AD5M fan boy but, the K1SE actually has a slight bigger build volume (250 vs 220 vertical). As for speed, I think the K1 family are all but the same speed of even faster. Any real difference is almost certainly slicer settings.

If both were new and the same price I would have trouble deciding between the two. The K1 does support higher temperatures but the 5M has a nice DIY enclosure kit option and I've had great luck with mine.

However in this case the K1SE is refurb and that comes with it's own risks.
