Cheaper than 16s the oled version. This might be better for people who care about the glare on the oled screens. You also get a full powered 5070ti at 140 watts. Insane deal.

I would have loved this with an OLED... even if it costed a bit more. The weaker GPU on the 16s model is preventing me from pulling the trigger.

I would take the full powered gpu over oled. This is screen is still great and even better if you play in areas with high light glare. I think people are vastly overrating the need for oled. This one also has a better chasis for cooling and is probably a overall better package for gaming.

Guys, there are many ROG Strix i9 laptops with 4090 gpu and 32gb ram on ebay for 1200-1300$ used but almost new condition, is that normal price nowadays or is that scam?

No one here cares about apple. We are talking about the gaming space. It's a stronger gpu vs oled between the 16 and 16s respectively. Just pick what you prefer.

Agreed. If this was a lower tier 300 nit screen with the GPU difference I would debate it, but this is still a great screen.

Agreed. The screen is top tier of IPS. Not as good as oled, but still great. You're also saving money and getting a full powered 140w 5070ti, which is a no brainer for gaming performance. The 16s is still a good option, but will perform worse.

Would love an OLED screen but this is good enough for me to pull the trigger. Was debating this and Asus ROG Strix G16, but this one is a tad cheaper than the used G16 with no warranty.
