I tried grabbing the 8qt Gourmia from Walmart last week, but my wife said it was "way too big." By the time I finally convinced her, it was sold out. Now the 6qt is the same price… I'm not even asking this time. Adding to cart. Thanks OP.

I usually only buy kitchen appliances that have been rigorously tested by people like America's test kitchen or consumer reports or anything Alton Brown recommends. The instapot vortex plus 6 quart is their current recommendation and it was well over a hundred bucks but it just went on sale for much cheaper and my alarm didn't ping but I ordered it and got it literally the next day. I don't know if you want to dish out an extra $40 but you're getting something that's definitely known as quality if you do and will probably last you longer while also delivering consistent results and the benefits of a higher end version of things. Usually build quality and materials as well.

Whatever,They are all air fryers with a non-stick coating.

Got this exact one from Target last year for about the same price. I use it 2–3 times a week and it hasn't had any issues. Makes killer chicken wings, but also does great with fries, veggies, salmon, mozzarella sticks, and leftover pizza (way better than the microwave). If you're on the fence, it's been a solid buy for me.

I've had one of these for 8 months now and my only complaint is that almost all the presets are identical. Do you want 400F for 25 minutes or 400F for 15 minutes or another 400F for 25 minutes or 400F for 12 minutes or 400F for 20 minutes?
It does a great job air frying stuff and I can't imagine what the heck a "premium" model would differently. The window and light I thought would be a gimmick but it is legit great for being able to look inside without opening it and letting heat out. It makes things crispier than my full sized convection oven or my combination microwave/convection oven or my convection toaster oven.
If you think you're going to cook a 2 serving meal in though, good luck. You can fit 2 large chicken breasts but you'll be using the stove for everything else.

For those looking for something smaller, I got the 3qt from Target last year for $25 and love it. Right now it is $30 at Target:

It is great for cooking nuggets and fries and heats up and cooks fast due to the small size. I can fit a slice or two of pizza if I bend it. It still comes out great, and way better than the microwave.

Idk if it's bad luck, but I've 2 with a bad basket sensor after 6-8 months. Warranty service is quick but man is it a pain to have the keep going down.
