Seems like a great deal. This is my first CPAP machine. I've had it about 18 months and have been very happy with it and small enough not to need a second travel sized one. Some people complain about the water tank, no problem for me although sometimes I have to try once or twice to make it seal properly when reinserting it.

I have the 11 and the water tank causes me issues as well! Always have to quickly pull it out and reinsert when I turn the machine on to get it to seal. Anyone else have this problem?

While the AirMini has its share of drawbacks, it's a game changer for travel, especially air travel. I can't imagine travelling with a full-size machine after using one.

I've had my 11 for almost 2 years now. My first one had a heater issue within the first two months and was replaced under warranty. The second has had zero issues.

No seal issues with the water tank at all. Well, I do recall it happening once and it just took a reseat to fix. Never happened again.

AMA if you have questions.

My provider mentioned some have issues with the tank fully sealing. She told me to lift up on the back end of the tank as you make the seal. I have not had issues by following that tip.

In what way is it a game changer for travel?

Just purchased with my HSA card. No Rx was asked for...
Edit: just got an email (after purchase) asking for an Rx. I'll have to call my Dr tomorrow

Got diagnosed with sleep apnea and used this machine, worked great, and highly recommend. Insurance covered the cost, but if not, phenomenal deal!
That said, mask's are tricky as everyone is different... HATED the nose pillows, but for some, they love the nose pillows.
Thankfully lost a lot of weight and no longer need the machine, but again, if in need of a CPAP machine, great machine at a great price.

Seems like they used to be CPAP Man before changing their name. Price for the unit is insanely good but I'm worried about the trustworthiness of the etailer.

Does it really helped reducing weight?

It's ridiculous small for a continuous CPAP system and uses less power so can run off a battery with the proper port on it (you can use on the plane itself). No humidifier chamber but uses moisturizer disks in the mask to keep a small footprint. The machine is half the size of the ResMed 10 unit with a humidifier and 60% of the ResMed 11 with a humidifier. AirMini uses 65W power source compared to 90-95W for ResMed 10 and 11 units. AirMini units are not as feature rich as regular units and masks that can used properly are more limited as well.

Don't you get these from insurance? So odd to see someone buy one outside of doctor's orders via insurance.

It helps by giving you better nights sleep if it is taking care of problem leading to poor sleep. Just using it doesn't lead to direct weight loss.

Depends on your insurance plan. ResMed CPAP machines are considered high end machines for some insurance plans and won't cover these units. Some insurance plans will cover rental of the units and not ownership of the CPAP unit. And all insurance plans want proof that you need the machine which requires a proper sleep study before the plan will cover. Many insurance plans only cover a portion of the cost so you might pay more than buying it direct from an etailer.
When I buy my supplies with Apria (one of the bigger companies/retailers) though my insurance I still have to cover half which is still higher than buying the supplies with my own money especially when sales happen on Apria Direct. I can save 25-50% on sale days on the holidays over my insured price.
These machines cannot be sold by these etailers without a prescription regardless (do not count some of the junk that claim to be CPAP machines on Amazon). All of these companies will ask for a prescription before they fulfill/ship to you.
