Where do these fall on the Edifier hierarchy? And I suppose the speaker hierarchy?

I imagine pretty low. It's only a 3.5" woofer, so I wouldn't expect any kind of flat response for critical listening.

How do these compare to the Mackie CR3.5BT? Just picked them up for $80 but retail for $130. Wondering if these are worth the 20 dollar difference.

They're not that loud to my surprise after I bought my Edifier MR4's new back in September for $129.99 when I was needing to replace my KRK Rokit 5's that were on their last leg w/ something comparable and well, these Edifiers left a lot to be desired. I'm only able to get somewhat acceptable volume out of them after connecting them through a ART HeadTap Headphone Tap.

I believe these are praised for its ability at its size. YouTuber jasper tech did a video about 3 months back on 20 speakers at various price points and these were highly praised.

i got their M60, they are really loud and very very clear.

They even sound better than Sundara headphones powered by FIIO headphone amp.

M60 has USB input, so it stays all digital until the end. Also LDAC.

Ended up returning them. They did not sound great. Def. worse than the Edifier 1280dbs that I have. Ordered these yesterday and should get here today. I expect them to be a lot better, but we'll see.
