Not sure where you saw it is not rechargeable, but the item title notes "POWERCAP LED Hat Light 150 Lumens Rechargeable Fleece Beanie with Bright Built-in Headlamp Waterproof LED" and there are multiple reviews detailing the length of a charge. Whether it holds a good charge or is a good deal may be debatable, but it seems fairly clear that is intended to be recharged.

Seems several Amazon comments echo your statement in that they couldn't find a charging port. Other Amazon comments mention you need to pop the light unit out from the beanie completely to access the charging port that is on the back side of the LED light unit. Just my observation.
