Here's a comment: I bought these when they went on sale a couple months ago, now that we're in rainy season I have been breaking them in for the upcoming snow. They are the best winter boot I've purchased in years. Felt broken in after about 5 miles of walking, are fully waterproof, have excellent traction (went hiking in the mud) and look great. The laces stay tight and tied while the lining is warm and plush. 10/10 recommend at any price point.

I bought these 3 years ago. They have held up real well, they're comfortable, fully waterproof, traction is pretty good. One thing I will note, is they are WARM! If your feet sweat a lot, they are not for you. I've normally wore heavier socks with boots, with these regular socks are just fine.

Because Columbia is a well known brand with decent quality and it's being sold direct from their website?

Half the comments are usually that products are bad quality or the brand/website is unknown or shady.

Chatted with an associate online. They said it does not have a membrane, that the fabrics, design and PU coating make it waterproof. For me, that means waterproof for a few wears, then leaky. Merrell had a good deal going a couple weeks ago on the Moab FST 3 Thermo Mid Waterproof that does have a membrane, maybe that comes back for BF.
