this cuts at a max height of somewhere between 3 5/8 to 3 3/4 and has enough power in turbo mode to get 2" off. Mulches about as well as my Honda gas self propelled backup mower of the same size but if it was real tall gas probably still wins. Have a very steep hill I usually do w a tractor (measured >30 deg slope) and this climbs much! better than the aforementioned self propelled mower which needs to be pushed when steep. Can do over a half acre if you just push it on the stock batteries w some left over power cutting 2" off w good mulch.
If you've got a quarter acre or less and don't wanna bother w gas or need a narrow space mower and backup for your ZTR or tractor it's a good product. This isn't the best deal, though, but it's probably cheaper than what you can find in the spring.
