Still...full grain leather, ASTM spec, goodyear welt, slip and oil resistant, electrical hazard protection, and a removable insole.
If that's all true, hard to belive its complete garbage.
If you do construction of something where you are hard on shoes I'd guess these probably arent going to be a good choice. If you use them for DIY work or occasional work combinde with desk work (foreman or something maybe?) they could be okay.
A decent pair isn't much more exoensive on sale, maybe $50 more, so really depends if you want to take a chance. The specs seem good though.
I ordered a pair of the soft toe for DIY work. These "Backhaul" boots are completely different from what Walmart used to sell at a cheaper price (those were called "Oakridge"). Based on a couple of recent Reddit threads, I believe these newer Backhaul boots are unlined. Description doesn't state whether they are lined or unlined, but zooming in on one of the pictures, they appear to be unlined. This can actually mean a higher quality boot, contrary to what some reviews say about "cheaping out" (e.g. many of the expensive work boots from heritage brands like Thorogood and Red Wing are unlined). The cheapest boots are always lined with very cheap synthetic material to hide cheap leather and shoddy construction.

Do you know what this sizing is like? Is it true boot sizing, or tennis shoe sizing?
