some one posted a good MS Office hack (old versions) in a previous thread. I'm sure there are similar Win11 deals too. MS needs to go google route and stop charging/freemium for personal use.

Slickdeals does a disservice to the community by promoting these things. I thought StackSocal promotions were bad enough, and now they do really scummy sites in addition.

I would avoid. After a month or two Microsoft forces a re-sign in from a company account to continue using the products.

Most of these places make you download cracked versions of Office. Some of them are gets red flagged for viruses. Do you know if this can be downloaded directly from Microsoft and the keys will work? Otherwise I'm not risking it.

I've had similar happen with other vendors selling grey market keys. Pretty easy to run Windows 11 without activating it by just ignoring the reminders to activate. Unless you are playing video games or running Adobe suite or simply MUST have a local copy of Office 2024 one can just run Ubuntu or Mint Linux instead of Windows 11. Removes the need for anti-virus and hauls a$$ on most modern hardware if you get the xfce flavor of Mint. Office365 is all browser based and works perfectly under Linux! As do the FireFox and Chrome web browsers. Without needing directX for games and without needing Adobe suite running locally it's easier than ever to ditch Windows and regain privacy and enjoy better stability.

If you already have Office 365 then either Visio or Project will not work with it. All of this ahas to be installed together as it is the LTSC versions. I purchased this package and only wanted Visio but the installer will not work if you already have Office installed. If you want Visio get the $50 key from Woot. It is legit and you paste it into your Microsoft Account so you have it activated with your account forever.

I bought an office key that was supposed to work on 3 PCs from this seller. It only worked on one, once. After replacing the hard drive it won't even work on the same PC. Error message says I have exceeded the number of activations when trying to activate the second PC of the PC bundle. Contacted support and have received no reply.

Right, but you don't do that right? It's either or. You can either do a like office 2024 one time purchase, or office 365 subscription. It's not both.
