I'm curious as to how many cards have been stolen because people weren't using RFID protection. I've never heard of anyone having their cards stolen this way.

Still using a wallet I was given 15 years ago. Have never lost money through RFID

I've seen news stories where they believe this was the cause.

But I agree, its a selling point that affects few if any.

Who cares. It's a pointless item of debate considering most wallets advertise this feature.
What actually matters is if this wallet is worth a flip or not.

I just received the wallet today and for the price it's worth it. It's really nice. I got the black one. It looks and feels like leather and it holds a lot of stuff. Definitely worth the price

RFID skimming is a real problem. Fortunately, it's rather rare as it takes a bit of smarts to pull off and most criminals are stupid.

Just a heads up, the description says "made from full grain, top grain, and vegan leather" which basically could mean anything or nothing. At this price you can assume that if it's even real leather, it will be the thinnest/cheapest kind which may feel nice on the surface but will disintegrate within a year.

AND ... even if someone did get my number and charged up a zillion dollars, I've got the Fair Credit Act, Regulation Z and a bunch of other regulations making sure the bank eats the loss--not me. Until the bank puts me on their payroll and makes me a member of their security team I am disinclined to fight their fraud battle, let alone spend $7 on their behalf.

I've had my wallet at least 15-20 years and so far so good. I've had three or four cards without chips had my numbers stolen.
