The first season was a little uneven as it felt like it was trying too hard to build a mythos around Joe (especially in the wake of Mad Men and Don Draper as the archetype) - but once it emphasized the ensemble (built on a pretty good foundation from S1) - it evolved to be an incredibly rewarding experience - and stuck the landing on the finale!
I sold a Compaq luggable PC to the prop mananger of the show. I found it in the shed when I bought a house. At first I thought it was a sewing machine. Assumed it wasn't worth anything but looked it up anyway. Apparently pristine models like mine were in demand at that moment. They needed it quickly so she sent me a prepaid overnight label and let me keep the $50-ish shipping cost, netted me just shy of $400 after fees. Pretty sure this was the multilevel motherboard model talked about early on in the series.
This really is a fantastic series that I still re-watch on occasional. Yes I hate Cameron because she's a huge prissy entitled bitch but I chalk it up to the acting which is excellent by her and all around, and also Kerry Bishe' ❤️🤤

Meh, maybe, it chose to cloak Joe in mystery but I wouldn't call S1 "uneven" from that. It had more subplots then other seasons: the reversing engineering, the BIOS building, COMDEX, the Donna boss drama, Joe doing his thing at the end, but it all fit together for me, didn't see it as uneven it was just threads to keep people intrigued. He wasn't the true Don but he wasn't dime-store Draper either, thought he acted the part well.

Phenomenal show. Still think about it often and get genuinely excited seeing the leads in other shows and movies.
Scoot McNairy in "Godless" was amazing. Perfectly cast.
I also wished Toby Huss got more recognition from this show. I felt he was the glue that held the ensemble together through all four seasons, and he did it so well.
