You can always just use a multi-outlet hub - you can still sync these in the Govee app to run as 1 set (no limit on how many you link afaik)

In the app go to the second tab at the bottom ( shortcuts ) long press and create a new card (group) and then follow the prompts to select your devices (you need to have the strands paired with the app on your phone already)

I run 3 sets of Sparkle lights on my main Christmas tree as a single set this way. They are all plugged into one multi outlet hub at the base of the tree. For larger projects you could get creative and use a color matched (or green/brown) extension cord to start a second strand higher up a structure, tree, or shrub.

These lights are such a cool upgrade to our tree that we decided to keep the tree up for a whole year! You can choose many different kinds of styles and brightness levels.

It's actually pretty cool. I have the newer version of these (these don't have the 3d mapping) and I asked it to make my lights look like the movie Elf. Pretty cool to randomly DIY something without having to go into the DIY settings too.

Would the 300 set be enough to make it look nice and full of lights on a 7.5ft tree? I dont like the look of some sets where theres alot of gap

Nah you're gonna need 2 sets imo. But I like a tree that is well lit. I have a 7.5 ft Nation Tree Co Douglas in my front bay window, 2 sets of the Govee Sparkle Lights (99ft, 375 light) and that feels like the right amount for that size (it is a very wide tree though... 5ft wide at the lowest boughs.

Ok thx, not sure how wide mine is without goin up in the attic and lookin at the box.not sure i really wanna spend that on lights amd have to use another app,I already have the eufy outdoor ones on the house

If you've never used it...you don't know the possibilities. We have ours wrapped around a palm tree in front of our house and change the colors to whatever the occasion. During the World Series, we asked it to make it in Dodgers' colors...you can ask for wider stripes or make refinements like your talking to a designer. When the the Dodgers won...we asked to add sparkles and change the color of the sparkles. All through just voice to text convos with the app. All within a few seconds to make happen.
