Plex is awesome, but if this is too much there are well regarded free alternatives like Jellyfin and Emby-- fyi

Queue the "SwItCh To JeLlYfIn" comments. Plex just works. I'm sure Jellyfin is also great, but this thread is about Plex. I'm happy with the lifetime pass although I did get it for less, but such is life these days.
