How did humanity survive prior to all this? From everything we understand now, it is very much damaging to children's brain. This is one of those things where the damage outweighs the benefits.

Yes your developing baby's brain requires constant dopamine hits even while traveling, DO IT

(I hate that the way lisen is advertising this thing is with a baby watching a tablet and targeting it at kids)

Wow! What an excellent deal! This looks like an extremely safe and reliable product for watching TV when riding in a car! I like the safety measures they put into place.
Not sure I'm following. Are you poking fun how it's not safe to watch tv while driving?

Anyways, would be kind of funny to be hands free and flipping the bird with a picture on a tablet on this arm facing the window lol

To be fair, they do need stimulation. If you're not traveling with someone the baby can interact with, then a tablet or movie is better than nothing.

Really scary that you think the only choices are tablet or nothing. Have you considered that parents can talk to their babies while driving? Or that music can be played? Or a physical toy can be placed in front of them?

Tons of research showing that screentime has a negative impact on developing brains.

As a parent, I agree with you.As a slickdealer, I'm wondering why you're here in this thread? Are you satisfying your need to helicopter parent others because your kids are doing so well without screen time?If you have something to add about the product or deal, chime away. If you're only here to poopoo the need for a product, you may be better off on a reddit discussion.

Originally I was just reacting to the ad in the product which has the baby. No comment otherwise on the product, outside of that every LISEN product I've purchased usually falls apart after a year or two =. Resume consumption, citizens!

I'm saying it's an incredibly safe product so that if there's a collision, I'm sure the safety measures they put into it will protect it from flying around like a projectile. I said something contrary to this earlier, but got a 3 point warning. So I'm complimenting the product at what it does so obviously well. It's so good, you should buy two -- using the affiliate link of course!

In for 1. We're planning to drive to Florida to visit the grandparents next summer. This will be helpful so all of the kids can watch the same movie. Thanks!

Ah I see. I mean there's going to be a bunch of crap to begin in someones car that'll go flying also. It'd be the occupants fault for not keeping the vehicle clean wouldn't it? Not the tablet/arm and whoever manufactured it.

It's absolutely the vehicle operator's responsibility for the safety and well-being of all passengers....the law says as much.

I'm simply pointing out that the first thing a person is going to see is Blue's Clue....up close....if the worst is to happen. All other items should be stowed and secured inside a vehicle at all times. Most people don't, and that's their choice.
