The Amazon deal was better, but it had limited supply. I got this model for about $1300 with all the discounts.

The 16 GB was $890 if you were lucky enough to grab one. I even saw a 16" for $1,200 but it was in acceptable condition so who knows how bad it was.

Their stupid automated system has flagged me so I can't use it sadly. Other have reported the same issue and said they got access to pay later option again in couple of days, hoping I can access back before the deals are gone

Cant use it for this laptop anyway, unless the conditions below like new are restocked.

get a refurbished macbook from ebay so the price is lower and that it wont exceed the paypal 20% cap

I have a hard time trusting hardware from eBay but on top of that, none of the eBay items with same spec are under 1500 anyway.

I may just bite the bullet and buy a new one. I think if I get a gift card to offset the cost to 1500 or below then I can still use the deal.
