I have a bunch of these cups.
Pros: cheap enough not to cry when lost, lid DOES NOT LEAK, fits in cup holders and on the side of backpacks.
Cons: drinking surface will collect dust and debris, not nice enough to be a status symbol, not double walled so coffee cools in about 4 hours.

snapseal is crap compared to autoseal, I've spilled coffee about 3-4 times because I forgot to seal it. Everytime, the the most annoying thing. Autoseal much more worth the extra money.

How would one go about insulating a cup without a double wall? This brings into question the rest of your claims.

I've had one of these for a few years and it's just OK. I have a cheap Ozark Trail mug that is much better insulated than this. About every 4 months I have to pry the cover for the handle off to tighten the screw that holds it to the mug. It's never come off, but it gets loose. The opening to drink from is pretty small so it's problematic with iced drinks. It also uses a rubber stopper to plug the hole and it gets dirty easily and takes a little more effort to clean. I will say it seals well and has never leaked, which I can't say about my Ozark Trail mug.

I have tried many leak proof travel mugs (with handles) so far: I have 4
RTIC, leak proof but the lid opener is super easy to break; I bought contigo, and the opening is very small for coffee and I was more looking for 16-18oz size, and this is 20oz; I recently bought an Ello cup, it's 18 oz, looks premium, however it has the same rubber stopper mechanism as Contigo, which makes it harder to clean the cap/lid.

The perfect mug should be: tall body(so it can fit into backpack side pocket), with handle, leak proof, and easy to clean.

So far I do not have a favorite or perfect solution, so the search is still ongoing.

It's not double walled , that's all I'm saying. My bougie cups work better but I'm less willing to take them on a construction site.

Literally says double wall on the product page though. Are you saying they are lying about the product? You can say they don't work as well as other double walls tho.

My Contigos worked fine and were double walled vacuum insulated. They didn't have the handle though so not the exact same version though the rest of the build looks the same.

I wonder if they got a fake.

I did have a couple lose the vacuum seal after a few years though. Weren't dropped or anything. All hand washed. Just one day I picked it up and it was super hot/cold to the touch. Didn't see any obviously broken seals around the top, bottom.

Contigo travel mugs are the best on the market. I'm still using one from 10 years ago. Had to replace the O ring recently and that only was a few dollars. They just don't wear out.

Who keeps posting this contigo snap seal crap. The lid is terrible and hurts your thumb to open so you leave it open which defeats the whole purpose. Contigo cheaped out on this lid design and the sale still doesn't make it a good buy. I wouldn't take it if it were free. Don't waste your money and please stop posting these.
