Was curious if this stick placement would be better then the others where it's lower.

The issue you run into is when you're playing games that require you to use both sticks simultaneously w/ the other face buttons which would be awkward af to carry out.

On the flip side of things, when the sticks are under the buttons you can accidently hit the sticks easily (especially how high they are) and since they are analogs, they normally require very little movement to register movement. Pure on / off buttons almost flush with the system on the other hand are much harder to trigger by accident.

Of course you could increase dead zone or decrease sensitivity but most people aren't going to wait to do that on a game to game basis

I personally prefer the analogs lower BUT for such a low power device that is mainly going to play D pad type systems, this layout actually makes more sense (IMO) on paper.

*All of that being said, another reason I think horizontal systems are better for most people.

There are reports that AliExpress transactions via PayPal are showing up on credit cards as cash advances resulting in high transaction fees.

That's why I only purchase from AliExpress w/ a credit card since I'm also able to gain points which equates to money.

Aliexpress is absolute dogsheet. With their new variable pricing and pops, shady vendors that don't ship or ship crap, it's not worth it anymore.

normally when you use both thumbsticks, you're stuck to just using the rear buttons. it's hard having your thumb on the stick and trying to hit hte face buttons

AliExpress is a scammer now. They use a very low price to attract you to place order and take your payment, but just not ship it and let the order expire after three weeks, and then refund. By playing this way, they use your money for free for over three weeks.

True but credit charge backs makes this easy to solve if they don't ship it
