Will be roughly 96 games if they continue doing 8 games a month. Most are Steam titles (or have been in the last)

It's been so long since I copped a Humble Choice month that this would last me years and odds are if they discontinue it, they'll take your money and run. I'll just keep paying the $15 (or less if there's coupons) if something good happens to come along.

The way humble has been acting lately it doesn't make sense to pay upfront.

I just paused my sub and I don't see an annual option. I had to unpause this month, and click change plan to see the annual option. After I click it I don't see an option to add a coupon unless it appears after clicking the change plan button.

I got the 6 month Christmas discount last year that made it 8$ a month but when I went to pause a month it said it would negate the rest of my discount months. Don't know if this one will be the same just a heads up.

I canceled mine not long ago. Not worth it once you do actual breakdowns vs what you actually want. Think I had the grandfathered $100 a year.

The Holiday promo price increased this year from $99.00 to $124.99, making it a $25.99 price increase.
If you still have an active subscription, it won't let you use the promo code to buy another year. Logging out, buying it as a gift and redeeming it to your own account still works.

Thanks OP. Nearly every month, all I read is how the new bundle is trash, but there's a lot of indie gems and some decent AAA hits here and there. While there's some definite misses, I still think it's a good value. A little less so now that the price has increased.

This deal and that deal are different. For this one, you are paying upfront and will have, in essence, 12 credits to use whenever you want, whereas for the one for 6 months, you are paying month by month and are not allowed to pause or skip if you want to keep the discount.

With that said, ever since IGN took over the game choices has gone downhill and they now have games that must be redeemed within a certain time or you lose it. Although few, it's not always easy to tell and most people don't like having to be forced to do that. Additionally they also offer their stupid IGN subscription that no one asked for

Humble bundle is not what it used to be. Most of the games now are indie games. Their subscription hasn't had a real aaa game in quite some time. So if that's your jam get it.

Price increase sucks but was obviously coming since they raised the normal sub by the same amount earlier this year. I agree that the top end is wholly weaker than it used to be but I can't say there's been a month where I haven't gotten games I would have bought anyway for more than $8. I'm sure I'll get $10 a month out of it too if it stays at a similar level and I prefer the AA and indie type stuff now myself.

Humble is now a shovelware company owned by IGN. Out of all of the years games, there will only be a couple that you actually wanted to play.
But you will groan many times at the bargain bin shovelware they give you
