Great deal and good to impress people, otherwise can't find much use for it.

There are tons of uses for this. It's a great size to keep in the car for emergencies.

I got this one on the last deal. So far I'm impressed. Great build quality and stupid bright on the highest setting. I ordered from the Sofirn Store on AliExpress and it came with genuine Sofirn batteries. Those are worth more than half the price by themselves.

Personally I would not leave 18650s in a car, unless its part of the battery pack which gets actively cooled.

The SP36 has tons of uses like sitting next to my convoy s2+, s2+uv, blf a6, if23 pro, skilhunt h03, etc etc.

Some people like TV's bigger than 36", cars that go faster than 90mph and 0-60 faster than 8 sec, and homes larger than 500sqft and water colder than 50F and tea hotter than 90F...

And if you are obsessed by what people are impressed with, that pretty much says it all.

With adjustable brightness and reasonable duration and weight, there is no such thing as a light that is "too bright."

And there is this thing called Ai these days you can ask, I am 100% sure it can list at least one thing out of 53,090 uses for this light that you couldn't imagine thus far.

This is more like TV's bigger than 65, cars that go faster than 120mph and 0-60 faster than 4 seconds, homes larger than 2000 sq ft, etc, etc. This is on the upper echelon of lights, not those dinky specs you mention lol.

Which is why I say there is no real every day use case for this other than showing off. There are simply better options for your lighting needs.

There is always something better. Learnt that from a young age, we joked that we couldn't keep up with our car with our millionaire trust fund friend.

That is why we are on slickdeals right? Looking for the best bang for the buck. I am happy with my e46 m3, I don't need to be fomo'ing a gt2.

Simple jack life is best. Too many worries is not good for you. Cheers!

Who said we have to limit to everyday us?

Actually has many more use cases than I imagined. I sold about ten thinking the same thing then tried one and find many uses that no other light works as well for. Maybe not every day but many days it is the ideal tool for the job.

I can use this as work light to light the complete side of my house or a whole basement with the electric off. Can be used as a beam or lantern with the diffuser in an emergency and will light up a whole house level if you have an open floor plan. The same when it is time to pack up.to leave a yard party or pack up a campsite. The spread is amazing and I have no other light that works as well for stuff like that. It also functions as high power power bank in emergencies and there are some smaller light that do that but you drain them quickly.
No other flashlight in my collection will perform as well for many tasks that this is ideal for.

I may have a more everyday table saw that is smaller and less powerful yet the does't negate the fact I may often need a larger more powerful one.

Having options is never a negative and it is not for you ot to tell people what they need as many may be living lifestyles completely different than ours.

Watched several in depth review videos. This thing got stomped on in their testing. Not a single one I watched got the 8000lm, but 2000 less. One guy got it to 7100 with some higher end batteries, but could not get it any higher. It still has impressive light output for the low cost.
