You're probably better off going with the Onkyo RZ30 for $765.

The 3800 supports all 3 major Dirac licenses and has a pretty high resale right now because of it!

I personally would stay away from any Pioneer Elite AVRs for the time being as their support currently exists but is finite (Pioneer is no longer part of the PAC group).
