For some crazy reason, they claim the Jetblack was unavailable in my area. However, with the extra discounts, the 256GB Navy came to $443.96 with NY state tax. And what was noted in a previous thread, Paypal pay in 4 installments is giving another 20%cash back. Can't beat this price.

The Samsung site for this deal is set up in such a way that if you list a trade-in phone (I asked about my old but perfect S9+) it actually costs MORE than if you don't have a trade-in. They offered $150 for the S9+ which I thought was great until I saw that a trade in removed the $175 'discount'. So the new phone would cost $25 MORE with a trade-in than without. Just beyond stupid.

$175 seems to be the break even point. If your old phone is worth less than $175, trading it in will stupidly INCREASE the cost of the phone because a trade in removes the $175 'discount'. I believe the Samsung marketing people were dropped on their heads as children to come up with this nonsense.
