Is the Slickdeals search algorithm broken because I can't find one of these posted here in the past to see if this is even a good deal.

710 isn't portable, it's heavy and has no battery. If you're leaving it at your house and have the outlets sure pick the 710.

I was being facetious.

In all seriousness it would take quite the battery to run 800watts, talking over 100lbs for a few hours run time.

On another note, I've only heard a pair of the 1000s and the 310, but if the 710 is anywhere near as loud as the 1000, you wouldn't be disappointed.
