Good to see this fall below msrp. Honestly though, I think this really needs to be a $500 GPU to make it recommendable. I would either go down to the RTX 5070 for $500 or less, or step up to the RX 9070 XT for $600. It's just hard to recommend unless the price goes down a little more.

Except GPU prices are getting ready to go up because memory prices are going crazy

That's what the word on the street is. That being said, even with relative pricing I would still opt for one of the other two. This is still a great GPU though. I just think it needs more of a price gap between it and its XT big brother.

I checked elsewhere because wccftech likes to report rumors, but yeah, seems like VRAM is being affected, too :/. When I last heard about this a week-ish ago it was supposed to be limited to DRAM.

Is that why there's so many on sale below MSRP?

You do realize I was saying to buy this GPU and other GPUs now BEFORE prices go up and then linked to an article with direct confirmation from AMD that they'd be raising prices

Basically a nonstarter if you live near a microcenter. PowerColor 9070 XT is $570. My store says 25+ in stock and has for several days now.
