I had a chat session with a live person at 32 Degrees and asked them to stack rank these 4 jackets. While it was a real person, I highly assume they used AI to generate the answer, so take with a grain of salt.

QUESTION
-----
Hi, can you please rank these 4 jackets for me in order from MOST warm to LEAST warm? Please only answer if you know the real answer.
1. MEN'S MACROLUX HEAVY PUFFER JACKET (non-detachable hood): https://www.32degrees.com/collect...fer-jacket
2. MEN'S MICROLUX HEAVY PUFFER JACKET (detachable hood): https://www.32degrees.com/collect...fer-jacket
3. MEN'S HOODED SHERPA-LINED JACKET: https://www.32degrees.com/collect...ned-jacket
4. MEN'S COMMUTER TECH SHERPA-LINED PARKA: https://www.32degrees.com/collect...ined-parka

ANSWER
------
Thanks for reaching out! My name is Allen from 32 Degrees.
Thanks for the great question — this is a thoughtful comparison. Based on the insulation types, fill power, and construction for those 4 jackets, here's how I would rank them from MOST warm → LEAST warm, along with a brief rationale:
Warmest to Least Warm
1. MEN'S HOODED SHERPA-LINED JACKET
- This jacket uses 600 fill power Cloudfill insulation and has sherpa lining, which traps heat very well.
- The combination of synthetic fill + sherpa fleece gives it strong insulation.
2. MEN'S COMMUTER TECH SHERPA-LINED PARKA
- Insulated with soft-roll poly-fill and fully sherpa-lined as well.
- While the poly-fill is less "lofty" (lower fill power equivalent) than down, the extensive sherpa lining compensates well, especially for a parka.
3. MEN'S MICROLUX HEAVY PUFFER JACKET
- Equipped with 600 fill power Cloudfill insulation.
- The detachable hood means some heat retention, but it's likely a bit less warm than the sherpa-lined pieces because it doesn't have that thick fleece layer.
4. MEN'S MACROLUX HEAVY PUFFER JACKET
- Has 500 fill power Cloudfill insulation according to the product specs.
- Since its fill power is lower than the Microlux's 600, it generally traps less warm air, making it the least warm in this group.

QUESTION
-----
Are you a person or AI?

I am a live person.

The microlux one is also $25. it's 29" length with 600 fill & detachable hood instead of 28" length & 500 fill without detachable hood.

There are now like 3 different jackets being discussed here.

Given people are posting from : "too warm" to "isn't warm at all", it would help which particular jacket you are talking about since I have a feeling they are not all the same one.

32 degree stuff is way overpriced. This isn't a $125 jacket. Not even close

not as high quality as north face but 32 degrees is good quality IMO. This is best $25 you can spend

They also have a sherpa lined one for $29.99. I don't know which of the three are the warmest.

I bought this last year. It's warm AF, to the point where I'd really only grab it if I was going to be well below freezing and not moving for a long time. Keep in mind that it's just a puffy jacket so no real wind or rain resistance.

Well worth $25, IMO.

I bought a 32 degrees puffer Jacket last year to wear when I am doing stuff that could get my Patagonia jacket dirty. Its a nice jacket that you don't have to worry about because it is so cheap. Very good value for $25.
