These RIDGID deals are killing me. All I "needed" is a circular saw to go with my old drill/driver set. Went for the 6.5" with 2 4ah batteries for 150, but this is really tempting. I already own a corded jigsaw and sander, but this is still tempting me.

I prefer the 6 1/2" saw myself. I like the blade on the left side so I can see it easier when I'm cutting.
I really like my cordless milwaukee jigsaw, but I'm sticking with a corded sander because I'm already going to be attached to the shop vac when sanding. being plugged isn't a big deal in this case.

You know you want it. Buy while on sale, don't open the box right away, and you can change your mind later it you want.

Unfortunately, this sander is garbage. The newer subcompact sander is light years better. I'm a big fan of Ridgid and have almost all their tools but this is the worst tool they make. I wouldn't take it for free.

Yes. This is my go-to sander. It performs great. Only downside, it does get warm after using it for a while.
