$200 controller w/o hall effect or TMR is wild.

I'd only be buying this to combat the incessant stick drift of the stock dualsense. I've went through three controllers so far. I've manually replaced the hall effect disc sensor in one, literally desoldered another full joystick replacement in another, and even bought another controller on sale just to save trouble in future.

I'm tired boss. I'm tired of fixing Sony's bullshit controller problem.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the BF price. MAYBE $150 but can't see any lower than that.

Why is this controller so expensive? Is it an upgrade over the controllers that come with the PS5?

Is this worth it compared to a regular controller?

I play a lot of shooters (Battlefield, Overwatch and some CoD) so I found it to be worth it for the hair triggers and back paddles. It is double the cost of normal dualsense controllers, but if you can afford it then I recommend it. Just know the battery life kind of sucks (3ish hours).

Thank you. Bought a used one for $150 before realizing it probably was a return with swapped out stick drift, so I had returned it. $10 more for a brand new is definitely a good deal.

Is this the one where you can swap out the potentiometers when they start drifting?

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank dalto

If I am being honest, I regret spending the money on my dual-sense edge. The battery life is very short and while the controller is definitely better, it isn't enough of an improvement that it was worth the money for my use.

The only good thing is that you can at least replace the analog stick modules easily. On the Xbox Pro controller you're screwed if the sticks get any drift.
