No RGB fan included? Then $70 for the RGB+hub version seems good deal too.
You must be kidding. This is solid psu (according to psu tier list by cultists). Yeah, not an X version, but still very reliable and quite choice. One would never prefer visuals over stability for a PSU.

Corsair PSUs are rock solid and high quality. Bought several of them last year. A 7-year-old SFX600 corsair psu I had purchased for a ITX build is now in a new ITX HTPC build powering a Powercolor Radeon 7900XT with a Ryzen 7600X3d solidly, though that graphics card is rated for a minimum of a 750W. Measured draw with a Kilawatt meter under max testing and gaming load is 470 watt at the socket, leaving 130 watt for any spikes.

So, I got this, and came defective. Measured 3.2v on 3.3v rail when tested with a PSU tester and it indicated item was defective. RMA-ing it now. What a hassle.

AMEX Platinum has a spend +$60 get $20 back going on until the end of the year. Not sure about other AMEX cards, but worth a look to see if you can stack.

Good price for fully modular PSU. I used to buy Platinum ones but then I did the math and Gold just makes the most sense financially. Even if you keep your PC for years.

Make sure you test it with a psu tester!

Got my replacement and it too is defective, first one was reading 3.2v on 3.3v rail and beeping, and now replacement tests Low voltage on -12V LL measurement and tester beeps.

Returning this, hopefully 3rd time will be a charm.

Very surprising, Corsair PSUs are normally very high quality, I have several ranging from 850w, 1000w, 1200w to their flagship 1500w powering a 5090 including a SF600 SFX psu several years old punching way above it's spec.

This series must just not have good QC
